Neutral Jelly Roll Quilt

I spent the whole day at the Chattanooga AQS Quilt Show today and had such a great time. There were so many good vendors and beautiful quilts exhibited that I came away with a few dollars less in my bank account and very tired feet. What a great event for our city to host for the next three years! If you have not been yet I encourage you to go and see for yourself all the new things out there in our quilting world. The show runs through this Saturday.

I also want to let you know that we will be open this Saturday at my shop for our Second Saturday Sew-In from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm. This month’s feature project is the Quick Strip Jelly Roll Quilt.  The neutral quilt above (made by Linda Andrews) is an example of this quilt finished. You can do this in several ways and we will explain this technique to you on Saturday. The cost of the class is the purchase of a jelly roll  (or yardage if you choose) from the shop. We will also have the Five and Dime Quilt technique available. An example of this is the Be Jolly Five & Dime Quilt (made by Patricia Lamon) featured above with a layer cake and a charm pack.

Hope to see you on Saturday!
